Text Wizard - Column Widths

This screen is used to define the column widths that are to be used to import data from an external text file.

This screen is part of the Text Wizard.

The preview pane at the bottom of the screen can be used to set the column width details:

To create a new column break position (directly before the following text block): click on the preview pane to add a vertical arrow. This arrow determines the position of a column break in the external text file.
To move an existing column break: click and drag the line in question to the new position.
To delete a column break: double-click a vertical column break indicator.

When you have finished defining the column widths in your external file, click Next to proceed to the Data Format screen.
